Nexans has been awarded a contract to be the unique supplier of cables for 2Connect, a custom-designed interconnection solutions company.

Based in the Netherlands, 2Connect was originally set up as a distributor of special cables but has since developed into a global A-to-Z manufacturer of interconnection solutions. Strengthening 20 years of partnership with 2Connect, the 5-year contract will see Nexans provide flexible cable designs for specifics moulded connectors used in medical, automation, machinery and industrial equipment.

Our partnership with 2Connect is a perfect fit with our ambition to help energise industries and we’re thrilled that our Pioltello plant will be used to provide customised cables for 2Connect.”

The frame contract will see Nexans’ Pioltello plant in Italy become 2Connect’s unique supplier of customised cables, which will be suited for harsh environments in factories.
