The main article entitled “Where is growth?“ focuses on the global cable industry and its outlook based on findings discussed at the CRU Wire and Cable Conference 2016 in June. The growth rate of the cable sector is higher than the the global GDP growth rate. Promising market possibilities are given in China and India as shown by market reports on both countries where the two major trade fairs for the wire and cable industry in the second half of 2016 are taking place.
