Maillefer Factory System is a unique way to outsource a factory project after you have defined the end product, and it is also suitable for expanding current production facilities.
Maillefer Consultation is a new service entity that is built around the wire and cable production process. It applies our core knowledge to individual advice and process-improvement support for wire and cable manufacturers.
We will launch two new Value Packages. The Maillefer Plus Value Package is a new way to quickly match increased demand with no upfront investment in production line(s). It is a plug-and-play solution for manufacturers who want to react quickly to emerging demand and set up production only after an order is in place. Cable quality takes on a new meaning with the new Cable Roundness Value Package, which controls production under very precise tolerances. This new curing concept guarantees maximum roundness in high-voltage cable production.
The Three Layer Co-extrusion Crosshead ECH 200/240 TL redefines large-power cable production. It applies all three layers to the cable core simultaneously and lets you place all three extruders on one side of the line. This makes the crosshead extremely user- and space-friendly.
A new application − Aviation gets its own production line, the Aviation Line TEL 25XF. We have also reached an ultra-high speed of 1000 m/min with our new Fibre Optic Cable Secondary Coating Line OEL 40 ///Explore, designed for future production efficiency.
Other highlights include the Air Cooled Extruder MXC 120-24D to prevent material overuse, Quick Conductor Splicing QCS for greater productivity, Nitrogen Circulation System NCS for upgrade opportunities, and Micro ducts for pipes.
We will display our unique R&D Centre, including the Vertical Pilot Line for cables up to 750 kV and polymer-flow simulations.
We will demonstrate our material know-how through a rheometer for testing rubber curing parameters and our Curing Calculation Program NSS, working together to deliver the best possible production run recipe. The new aviation cable line proves our expertise in fluoropolymer extrusion.
