The new power connector, M12 Power, is a compact power pack and a mile stone of miniaturisation. At Light + Building 2016, HUMMEL AG will first be presenting these new circular connectors to the interested parties from the building technology sector. Reason being that there are completely new applications available with the development of the new M12 plug connector. Particularly in buildings, this M12 with its compact design will be a real alternative in many situations. It transfers power up to a nominal voltage of 630 V and a nominal current up to 16A. Thus, for M12 Power, this results in numerous applications in building services, lighting technology or in the area of security and surveillance. The stable metal housings, by default, are EMC compatible and accommodate cables with a cross-section of up to 11 millimetres. M12 Power is available in four encodings and it meets the protection classes IP67 and IP69K. It is robust, simple to use and works extremely reliably in temperature ranges of -40° to 125° Celsius.
Furthermore, at Light + Building, HUMMEL AG will be presenting a large range of cable screw connections, plastic and aluminium housings as well as cable protection systems.
