L-com Global Connectivity, a preferred manufacturer of wired and wireless connectivity products, announced today that it has launched a new series of black UL® listed weatherproof industrial NEMA enclosures.
Constructed from molded halogen-free and self-extinguishing fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP), these new enclosures are well suited for use in extreme temperature or corrosive environments.
The NBB121 series (12x10x5 in.), NBB100 series (10x8x5 in.), NBB141 series (14x12x7 in.), and NBB181 series (10x8x5 in.) are available with aluminum mounting plates, non-metallic mounting plates or without mounting plates. The black color of these new NEMA enclosures makes them ideal for use in security and surveillance applications as they blend in seamlessly with existing municipal landscapes.
“Adding additional sizes and models to our existing NBB enclosure line gives our customers an even wider selection of standard products to choose from,” said Ken Burgner, Product Manager. “Furthermore, we can build custom versions of these enclosures to address both wired and wireless applications,” he added.
These new NEMA rated enclosures feature fully gasketed lids and integral mounting flanges that allow them to be mounted on walls and flat surfaces without the need for additional mounting hardware. Optional pole mounting kits are also available.
