L-com Global Connectivity, a preferred manufacturer of wired and wireless connectivity products, announced today that it has developed a line of industrial NEMA-rated enclosures.
L-com’s NB20-series enclosures are molded from halogen-free, self-extinguishing, fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) to withstand extreme temperatures and wet and corrosive environments. They protect electrical and electronic components and equipment from water, wind, dust and chemicals, as well as preventing theft and damage. These enclosures feature fully gasketed lids and stainless steel quick-release latches with padlock hasps to lock the enclosure and secure the internal equipment.
“Protecting expensive electrical and electronic equipment is critical for any industry. L-com’s industrial NEMA-rated NB20-series enclosures provide the superior protection needed for sensitive equipment. Their large size of 20x16x11 inches provides sufficient space for multiple or large devices to be mounted inside,” said Ken Burgner, Product Manager.
The NB20-series features options such as 120V AC power and non-powered configurations, as well as heating and cooling options. Approvals for the NB20-series include UL and NEMA ratings, IEC and CSA (ratings may vary from model to model).
