Cat.7 CU 7000 4P Home data cable
Interference-free video streaming, real-time gaming and data backups at up to 10 gigabits per second: Datwyler has developed the CU 7000 4P Home data cable specifically for high-speed multimedia cabling in residential buildings.
The shielded AWG26 cable comes in a practical Pull-Quick box (304 m). It is only 5.8 mm “thick” and is even easy to run through thin tubes.
On links up to 60 metres it meets all the ISO/IEC requirements for a Category 7 (600 MHz) product. It is compatible with all current connecting hardware in accordance with EN 50173 and ISO/IEC 11801.
Its main features are an attenuation of 32 dB/60m at 500 MHz, very good NEXT values of 92 dB at 500 MHz, a high impedance accuracy as reflected in a Return Loss of 26 dB at 500 MHz, and good mechanical characteristics, e.g. a tensile strength of 62 N.
The data cable will be available from April onwards.
