Goodtech has entered into a contract with Nexans Norway AS for the delivery of solutions for autonomous retrenchment of HVDC managers. The contract includes 4 autonomous laying arms for Nexans’ expansion of its own factory in Halden, and has a value of approximately 15 MNOK.

Goodtech’s expertise in the development of future-oriented production solutions is central to the project, where Goodtech will have total responsibility for project management, design, engineering services and testing. The company’s expertise and ability to implement make the company a strong partner for Nexans, which is also confirmed by Purchasing Manager investments Lennart Wedel Jarlsberg in Nexans.

This contract confirms the close collaboration with Goodtech. We have very good experience with the company, both in terms of quality and competence in competition with other players. Goodtech’s offer is in line with our requirements and expectations and we look forward to getting started.

The contract is another example of a growing trend where Goodtech is invited already in the pre-project phase to develop new solutions together with customers. CEO Margrethe Hauge of Goodtech is satisfied:

This is a project where Goodtech’s interdisciplinary expertise will be a very important part. The project confirms our good and long-term collaboration with Nexans Norway AS and we are very grateful for the trust Nexans once again shows us. We look forward to embarking on another efficiency project, and will deliver on expectations.
