Cimteq opens 3D Printer competition ahead of Wire Dusseldorf

Excitement is building for Wire Dusseldorf 2020, not least because Cimteq’s event competition with the chance to win a 3D Printer is now open to applications.

Taking place on 30 March – 3 April 2020, Wire Dusseldorf is considered to be the cable and wire industry’s most important bi-annual trade show. As it is particularly renowned for showcasing the industry’s most cutting-edge innovations, it presents the perfect backdrop for Cimteq’s demonstration on CableBuilder3D.

As Ali Shehab, Cimteq President, explains: “The latest release of CableBuilder3D autogenerates a print-ready file for your 3D printer. This technology is still new to cable manufacturing, but is seen by the most innovative of manufacturers as the perfect opportunity to prototype speciality cables and subsea cables.

We’re very excited to be showcasing this technology at Dusseldorf so that delegates can see how easy it is to generate these models; and, when holding the product firmly in their own hands, how it can facilitate designer-client discussions.”

Delegates who visit the stand will be invited to enter Cimteq’s competition to win the Wanhao i3Plus Duplicator 3D Printer. Cable manufacturers who are unable to attend or who would like to respond early can now submit their entry online.
