2019 has arguably been Cimteq’s busiest and most successful year. Let us share with you our highlights!
Cimteq begins work with the Foresight Group to develop an accelerated growth strategy following a £2.5 million investment from the Foresight Regional Investment Fund. Foresight’s Investment Manager Matthew Pomroy notes the team at Cimteq’s ‘exceptional expertise in the sector’ and the ‘significant opportunity to grow Cimteq rapidly over the next three to five years.’
It was back to school for Ali Shehab, CEO – or at leastfor his students – as he hosted an ‘Introduction to Automation Systems’ workshop at the University of Southampton. This event firmly kicked off Cimteq’s commitment to learning for the year.
Scaled-up growth needs a scaled-up team and March saw Cimteq spring into action with its recruitment drive; the first appointment of Rob Cox as Cimteq’s new Development Manager reflecting the company’s commitment to cutting edge product innovation.
Cimteq clients are based across the globe so what better way to engage with them than through embracing webinar technology? April’s first session very aptly tackles Industry 4.0 and how technology is at the heart of the Smart Factory.
The theme of Smart Factory, Smart Mindsets continues at the Interwire exhibition in Atlanta.
Ali Shehab, CEO, Cimteq, is amongst the prestigious line-up of speakers sharing their insights into the changing face of cable and wire. He is also the personal host of Cimteq’s Technical Program at Interwire, exploring the theme of ‘Next Generation’ Industry 4.0.
Cimteq adds to its burgeoning team with the appointment of Regional Sales Manager, Frederik Becker whose remit is to develop Cimteq’s footprint in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. A new face too in Marketing as Pippa Bindin joins to help excite the market place with Cimteq’s most innovative plans.
After having systematically built up a series of articles and whitepapers, FAQs and quizzes, Cimteq officially launches its online learning resource. The ‘Cimteq Academy’ is a virtual embodiment of the company’s 20-year expertise on all things cable and wire.
Cimteq receives regional recognition for its ambitious growth programme from #BusinessLive’s ‘Top 25 Tech Companies in Wales paving the way’.
Cimteq seizes the opportunity to reach an even greater client audience at its second North American conference of the year – the IWCS 2019 Cable and Connectivity Symposium in North Carolina.
Recognition once again as Cimteq is shortlisted for the West Cheshire & North Wales Chamber of Commerce’s Award for Digital Innovation.
Can there really be so much to say about Industry 4.0? Indeed, so as Yufei Du, Regional Sales Manager explains in the second of Cimteq’s webinar series on this topic.
It’s certainly been a year of fast pace and achievement, and our sights are firmly set on the future. What better way to start 2020, than with the preparation for two significant exhibitions – Cable North America and Wire 2020 in Dusseldorf…
